Hi,
I've set up a lovely template card, so lovely in fact that I want all new cards created on this board to use this template. Is that possible? I haven't been able to find a way how. I suspect it may be a feature in a higher-tier of Trello than I have (the free tier).
Thanks,
-dave
Hi @Vero Rivas,
Thanks for the links. I took a look but didn't see any info on how to make a template card the default for the board, so any new card will use that template.
After some further research I think this is a feature in a higher tier of Trello but haven't confirmed.
Thanks,
-dave

@Dave Truman Hey - did you get anywhere with this? I'm looking into doing the same thing.

Hi @mydog minton .. Upgrading to a higher tier of Trello is basically the answer. I couldn't justify doing that so I did not get further with this.. Thanks!

When googling this, this is the only hit I found regarding this. Any hints on where you found info that this is possible in an upgraded version, @Dave Truman ? We have paid Trello, but I cannot find this.

Hi all! Sorry for the ambiguity in those articles--there isn't currently a way to require the use of a template when creating a card in Trello.
What we do internally sometimes is include a "How to use this board" list at the very beginning of the board. Then, you can put your template card in that so it's really easy to find and use.
