I want to create a graph to show what cards will made available/closed in the coming days.

I work for a railway company, we have cards showing trains that are available and trains that are stopped. The trains that are stopped have a date on the card on which they will be made available. Is it possible to create a graph to show the amount of cards that will be available on a day looking forward a week. For example I have 5 cards stopped, 1 card has a date of tomorrow for when it will be made available, and 1 for the day after that. I want to see a forward graph showing that each day the available cards will increase by 1. Is this possible?

Hi @Liam Stanley welcome to the community 😊 From what I can see, Trello's dashboard view does allow you to create a chart that tracks cards by due date, but it appears to be designed to track completed cards, so it only shows dates in the past. I'd suggest submitting a feature request to show future dates as well!

As a workaround in the meantime, there are power-ups that give you reporting options. If you just type "reporting" into the power-up directory, you'll see a few. A lot of them would be paid power-ups, however.

As a free alternative, Dashcards might give you what you need. You can create a dashcard to track your needed cards, then open up the details inside your dashcard to view more. You have the ability to pivot on due date as well as visualize. Here's what the visualize option looks like:

It's color-coded so white = no cards due on those days, and the different tones of orange/red represent the number of cards due (dark red = more cards). Clicking on the date will bring up the cards in a grid view underneath.

Thank you for the reply! I have already put a feature request in but was told it is not something that trello are looking to support with which is annoying as I believe it would be a handy feature.

I will download dash cards to see if this is useful, I also now have deadlines which is a handy app, however it does not give the information in a line chart or bar chart like I was hoping for, it just shows the dates cards are back.

Thanks :)
