My Slack is connected to my Trello on Trello's end but when I try and set up Power Ups (to send reminders about cards to Slack, for example), it says I need to link my account. When I click that button, nothing happens, which I've tested in multiple browsers. Any ideas for how to get it to recognise that Slack and Trello are already connected?
@Rachael Davies can you record a screenshare showing this? Might be a bug. If you can record a screen share in here, I'll go ahead and flag this issue so support can take a look.
Hi @Brittany Joiner sure, I've got a screen recording but can only add photos to a comment or the post above. is there a way to share videos?

Hi Rachael,
You can use Loom, which is our platform to record and share videos :D

Yep what Rachael said! You can record up to 5 minutes for free, so shouldn't need to pay for anything!

@Brittany Joiner here's the video - it doesn't show clicks, so hard to see what I'm talking about but I'm clicking that 'Link Your Slack account' button and nothing happens

@Rachael Davies Would you please try opening your browser's console, trying this again, and sending a screenshot of any errors that appear in the console?
If you're using Chrome, you can open the console with Ctrl + Shift + J on Windows or Linus or Cmd + Option + J on a Mac.

@Rachael Davies It looks like the problem is that you don't have permission to do this because you're not a member of the Workspace that board belongs to. Slack has to be authorized separately for each Workspace, so it's also possible that it's already turned on for another Workspace you're using but not for this one.
What you're seeing is definitely confusing—I'll share this to the team to see if we can improve this experience. In the meantime, I'd suggest asking an admin for the Workspace to set up the Slack integration or to add you as a member to the Workspace.

@Caity thanks for looking into this!
@Rachael Davies were you able to get an admin in the workspace to set it up?

@Caity @Brittany Joiner thank you for your help, I can't remember exactly what I did but with enough fiddling around in the settings, something changes and it did work! Thanks again

@Rachael Davies glad to hear it! if this was helpful, would you mind clicking the Accept Answer button so folks who are looking for the same know there's an answer in here?
