I own our Social board, but I'm leaving the business. How do i keep the board active after I leave?

Hello,

I'm the owner of some boards that enables cross-team collaboration. I'm going to leave the business next week but we want to keep these boards going. How do I ensure the content on these doesn't get lost even after I leave or after my email becomes inactive?

Are you looking to transfer ownership of these Boards to another user?

If so, check out this help page: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/how-to-transfer-boards-to-a-new-account/

I'd also recommend:

• If you're the Workspace Admin, ensure at least one other active user is set to be one: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/adding-an-admin-to-a-workspace/
• Reassigning any relevant Cards, by modifying their membership: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/adding-a-member-to-a-card/

Thanks Stephen. Will we lose any content on these boards if I don't transfer ownership but only assign new admins?

Shouldn't do - but ideally Board Owners/Admins are an active account.
