I received a link to join a board to the email that I have associated to my trello. However it looks like when I try to access the board it tells me I have to create an account with a specified email address. However that is the email associated to my account.
Please help. Not sure if its an trello account/atlassian account issue.

Can you try loading the invite url in an incognito window and making sure you are using the same email address to login as the invite was sent to? I wonder if there is a problem with cookies or if there is an email alias happening.
The owner of the board can also invite you using your username.
Yep, I tried the above. I tried on a different computer. I even tried having them send an email to a different email address and I got the same issue :(
