I can't get notifications to work. I've tried everything! No iOS, no browser, no email notifications

I was thinking about purchasing Trello but the notifications are becoming a deal breaker.

I actually want notifications to arrive at a time that i request them (not 24hrs before the due date, but when I want!)

Anyway, it's a great tool so i'm prepared to live with any kind of notifications (even if I have to set them 24hrs later than the completion time, to get them "on time".

But, after troubleshooting everything I CAN'T get notifications at all. I'm watching the cards; i'm a member of the board; my settings are configured in my iPhone.... nothing seems to work.

Thanks for reaching out!

For mobile, there is a specific set of notification controls that you can use. This will allow you to control what types of notifications you want to receive on your mobile phone:

If you don't see this behavior, please reach out at and provide us with the following information so we can further investigate the issue:

  1. A screenshot of the card in question (from which you do not receive notifications).
  2. A screenshot of the top of the notifications page (click the bell icon in the top right to view this page)

Once we have that, we'll be happy to take a closer look at it!

Hi Lara and team, we use Trello across a few iOS phones and desktop too and we cannot get notifications for anything. I have followed the help link and checked everything but none of us get notifications for some reason and we need to hear that ping! Can you tell me what we need to do to get this resolved as it is really slowing us down. Thanks Patrick SMV LTD

Hmm, would you mind confirming if you've checked your device settings and are allowing notifications from the Trello app?

Hi Lara, still no success but we did have it day one but only for a short period of time. We really could do with some help please on this. Thanks Patrick
