How to repeat the task

Hello,

I am using trello for the first time.

I have this project for my client :

Every month, I have newsletter to create and send.

This is what I want to do with trello but I am not sure if it is possible :

Write all my tasks : 

1. ask for the subject of the newsletter

2. Create the newsletter

3. Send for validation

4. Send the newsletter

5. Reporting

I want this every month and with deadline, like this :

1. ask for the subject of the newsletter : 3 weeks before D day

2. Create the newsletter : 2 weeks before D day

3. Send for validation : 1 week before D day

4. Send the newsletter : D day

5. Reporting : 1 week after D day

Is it possible ?

Hi @Aménagée Hadjri welcome to the community :) butler automation should be able to help here. Sounds like there are two automations you want to run:

1. Repeating a card on a monthly basis (e.g. the newsletter card)
2. Using a templated checklist for the tasks that need to be done for the newsletter with automated due dates based on the newsletter card's due date

Both can be achieved with butler automation. Take a look into schedule commands for the 1st one, and then rule commands for the 2nd one. The 2nd one is a bit trickier to set up so happy to help if you need it!

Did I get you right that you want to get these tasks on a regular basis?
If yes, then I recommend you to use Planyway calendar for Trello, create these tasks and put them on repeat (feature is available in Planyway). You tasks can be both individual cards or checklist items within a single card.
