We have a task like: daily monitoring systems. So created a card with due date as of today and repeat it using card repeater all week days, It effectively repeats it but keeps the original due date. Thus, it is not easy to identify the date of the execution. We have tried to create a rule to force the copied card to set due date as the next date. No success so far. In addition, we have weekly and monthly tasks with same issue.
Is there any way to accomplish this using Trello? Looks like rutinary tasks is part of the work of any team work, so we expect this feature be something standard within Trello,
Thanks for all your support
Hello, welcome to the community!
The Card Repeater makes an exact copy of the original card, and cards with due dates are not updated automatically as a result.
An automation rule as you mentioned should help to automatically update your due dates when the card is repeated. You can read more about setting one up here: Automatically changing due dates with Automation
Please let us know if you have any follow-up questions or trouble with this.
Thanks! There are still some things, I'd like to get your advice:
1. The automation trigger can accept conditionals like: "When cardis copied into XXXX by me AND card name contains Daily"
2. I've updated cards with repeat option and seems to me I am getting repeats for the different updates, How do I remove/eliminate repeats and ensure it only works for one of the versions.
Thanks in advance for your support

Thanks for following up!
We currently don't support 'AND' conditions with automation. We are tracking this feedback internally, and I've gone ahead and given those an official bump for you.
Regarding removing previous repeats, at the bottom of each card that is repeated, you will see a link back to the original source card:
Clicking on that link will take you to the original card, where you can disable the repeat settings, which will fully disable the repeating.
Give that a try, and don't hesitate to reach out if we can help with anything else.

Thanks again for your prompt response. Hopefully Trello development team finds useful the feature of conditional for triggers and implement it. For the repeated cards, I've followed your instructions and close the issue.
