How to disable Google SSO?

We are ending our Google Workspace-account due to an company-transfer to Microsoft.

I'm signed on with my Google account, which means it's not possible to enter my current password, to then change to a new password.

Can someone help me to shift from Google-SSO to a standard e-mail and password login?

Thank you!

Hi Jonas,

Welcome to the community!

To be able to change this configuration you need to be an Organization Admin.

What happens is that your company is using Atlassian Access and configured SSO for the managed accounts, where your account is included.

The integration is actually established by the SAML Single Sign-on settings on Atlassian side. When you delete that configuration, the connection with Google will be disconnected.

Here is how you can disable the SSO as an org admin:

  • In the browser tab that popped up, put in the address https://admin.atlassian.com
    • Access your organization
    • Navigate Security > SAML Single Sign On
    • Delete the settings.

Your domain users should now revert back to the Atlassian Account password when logging into Atlassian (including your site).

Please let me know if it helps.

Kind regards,

Carlos
