We use Trello as an instruction set for our employees. Each client has a Trello board and the employee checks off the tasks as they go through them. However, sometimes we make updates to the instructions. Is there a way to push out the updates to all of the Trello boards at once (vs now we are copying and pasting every update to every board individually, which is very time consuming).
Any suggestions on how to do this?
@Lori Werner are the instructions cards? Or are they in checklists? You can create an API automation easily enough to publish either to a bunch of boards, but there's no "generic" solution to keep them in synch.
For example you can automate it so that when a new card is added to a list in the template board, the same card is copied to a list of the same name in all boards that are grouped as "Staff Training" using our BenkoBot platform:
Unless you or your team are coders you'll need a coder to write it for you, but our low-code platform aims to make that affordable. We can put you in touch with developers to do the work if you like.
There is a "Bulk Actions" power-up. You can try a trial version but I think it is paid after couple of days.

I don’t think there is this capability native in Trello.
For cards copied from another card include from a template, by apply code you can automate the process. This done by look at the copyCard action and the sourceCard value.
Not sure whether the same applies to cards in a copied board.
In any case, it would be quite a task to look for those boards and cards to figure out whether to apply an update.
