How to assign Checklist items a due date and reminders?

Is there a way to assign a due date to a checklist item and give reminders to the person assigned to that checklist item that the due date is near?

We have many tasks within a card - so we need a way to remind folks that their tasks (checklist items) are coming due or the dates have been updated.

Hey @Brooke Brockman

We don't have a direct way of adding due dates or assignments to a checklist item currently. I'll let our team know that's something you'd like to see though.

In the meantime I'd recommend using a separate card for that assignment and due date. You could then link the card as a checklist item like in this example:

To link a card as a checklist item, either copy the card's url from your browser's address bar or use the Share and More button on the card back. Then you can paste the link into the checklist.

Would an option like this work for you?

Hi there, just wondering if there has been any updates here?

ditto, any word on this one?
