How to allow team members to complete check lists

Sarah Pelc Graca October 30, 2020

Hello,

I have a team board shared with my team. One of my teammates shared that she cannot check off the boxes for check ins on a specific trello board. It says she doesn't have permission to edit the board. I have looked at settings and it appears everything is set to team. What do I need to do to allow my teammates to be able to check items off a to-do list?

Thanks!

Hi @Sarah Pelc Graca ,

Welcome to the community!

There can be a solution like your team can copy the board and do their tasks and merge it with the master board using various power-ups.

Please check out this articles https://unito.io/blog/how-to-build-a-trello-master-board/

OR

you can change their permissions  https://help.trello.com/article/791-changing-permissions-on-a-board

Hi @Sarah Pelc Graca

It looks like your teammate is not a member on your board or only has the Observer permission assigned to them as a board member as only in that case would she be unable to edit the board.

Could you make sure she's a member on the board and let us know if she has any specific permission assigned to her account?

Cheers,
