How to add a new member to an existing confluence space "The Team" section

Colin Maxwell January 12, 2019

I've created a new Team space in confluence and the default Team space template Overview page has a section called "The Team" which include each team member's avatar.

How do I add new users and have their avatar in "The Team"?

I've gone through the permissions page for the space but this doesn't add the users to "The Team" section of the Overview page.

I would have thought this type of admin function to be really simple....

Hi @Colin Maxwell

The avatar is what we call a profile picture, and you can add it when you're in edit mode (click on edit in the upper right hand corner of the page, or hit 'e' on your keyboard). Once you're in the editor you'll see the toolbar at the top, click on the + sign (insert menu) > Other Macros > search for "Profile Picture". From there you should be able to type in the user you wish to appear under Team!
