We use the Google Map power-up to show the location of the project on every project card for our team. Once the due date is marked complete the card is moved to the "Complete" board. How would you set a rule or action to remove the Google map once the card is moved to the "Complete" board?
Hi @Hollie_Hall
Welcome to the Community!
Just to echo what @Iain Dooley has said; if you're moving all your 'done' cards to a 'completed' board, it shouldn't move the Map PUp data if you don't have that PUp active on the 'complete' board.
When you move a card (or list) from one board to another, if the same PUps aren't on the second board, it shouldn't move them across. If you're finding that the maps are showing up on the second board, have a look at the PUps that are enabled (on the second board), and turn the maps PUp off.
However, if you're moving the card to a 'completed' list within the same board - then the PUp is still on the board, so you would have to manually go into each card and remove the map within the card.
Esme :)
@Hollie_Hall Do you mean "Complete list"? If so, it's not possible to disable a powerup for some cards on a board, and also it's not generally possible for powerups to remove each others' data so Butler/API calls won't be able to remove map data you've attached to a card using that powerup. One option would in fact be to move it to a different board without that power up enabled.
