How do I transfer the admin of a board to myself when the original person has left the company?

The person who created the board no longer works for the company - how do I get the board changed so that it shows me as the admin?

Hi Mike,

I think the right thing to do here is to contact https://trello.com/contact#/

The support guys are great and will surely be able to help you resolve this.

Other options. If they had an account linked to a company email address, you can re-enable that address in order to log into Trello then change you to admin for workspace and boards. If that person set up automations, you should also be sure to have those transferred.

This is a problem that arises quite frequently. My suggestion to protect from the same thing happening in the future is to have a pooled admin account. Something like trelloadmin@yourcompany.com. That way, if someone leaves, you other members of that email group can still access
