Hello,
Today we received an email from Trello that we've exceeded the amount of free users on our free workspace. Therefore, I was trying to remove certain ex-employees workspace guests and unused boards, but I have not been able to do this. We would easily be able to remove enough members and boards to stick with the free trello version, but it just doesn't seem to allow me to manage the workspace properly.
Nor can I find an easy way to contact Trello customer service about this issue. Anyone else has any experiences with this?
If the person you want to remove is the admin for a board in the Workspace, or if they're a member on a board that you don’t have access to, you may not be able to remove them if you're using a Free Workspace. However, Free Workspaces in Trello are getting some new admin tools that will allow you to fully remove any member or guest. These tools will be available by the end of March.
If you want to remove someone before then, you can do that by starting a free trial of Premium (no credit card required) if you haven’t used a trial previously. That will give you full admin capabilities so that you can remove any member from any board.
@Per I have the same issue as @Floris Thank you for answering! However when I check the workspace settings page I am not able to change anything even though I am the admin of the workspace. It looks like this? Or do I look at the wrong settings page?

Welcome to the community Floris!
For your workspace, when you go to Settings -> Adding and removing members, who can add and remove the members: Admins or All Members?
