How do I make our board 100% secure?

Maja_Seidenfaden___ZILLION June 5, 2020

Hi Trello,

I've created a board for my team and I, its a private board and I would like it to become 100% secure with no possibility for anyone to enter without permission. The way that I invited my team was by creating a link, but now I'm afraid if anyone get a hold on that link, they will be able to access our board.. Also, members can invite others.
How do I avoid anyone to enter our board without permission?

Thanks for your help!

Hi @Maja_Seidenfaden___ZILLION ,

Welcome to the community!

Make the Trello board private! You can give other users only view permission so that they can't edit anything!

When you remove them from the board they don't get any access to that private board!

Hi,

Thanks for the quick answer, I've already read the links earlier, but it dosen't answer my question. :)

The team members needs to be able to edit the board. However, I want to be able to controle who gets acces to the board.

As private settings, people who get a hold on the link, that I've sent out to my team, can access our board. How do I prevent them from accessing?

@Soumyadeep Mandal

I think the problem is, that I've invited my team by creating a link and not inviting them individually. Can I somehow deactivate the link? :)

@Maja_Seidenfaden___ZILLION in addition to the advice on disabling a link from @Soumyadeep Mandal you can set board permissions so only admins can invite others:

Also note that the way I always invite members to a board is by full email address, otherwise it is too easy to add some random with the same name to your boards!

Thanks a lot :)
