How do I close a Trello Board and then Delete the board?

I want to delete a board.

But I understand in order to delete the board I must first close it

So How do I close a board so I can later delete it?

Hi Keith,

Here are the steps to close a board:

1. Open the board you would like to archive.
2. Tap the three dots at the top right of the screen.
3. Select "Board settings."
4. Select "Close board."

This answer should include the fact that the deleter/archiver must be an admin of the board.

I am not the admin. Do not know how the other team member becamse so. This is an old Board on my own account and is taking up valuable space!  How can I delete it if I'm not the admin but it is on my account?
