How can I mark a card as "done" without a due date?

ziplock9000 October 30, 2020

Title says it all really.

I have cards that simply don't need a due date and I don't want to use a "done" list.

Here are some options:

  • Use a label. You can customize labels in the labels menu. I usually use a green label and name it done.
  • Archive the card. If you don’t need to see the card anymore then just close it out.
  • Use the Custom Fields Power-Up to add a checkbox field called “Done”
  • Use Butler to add a card button called “Done” which set the due date to the current date and time and mark it as complete

This seems like the best solution thanks. I just need to look how to do that.

There is a 'Card Done' App extension which does this nicely, but i created an automation rule to do the same when the card is dragged to a 'Done' list :). Thanks
