I have a trello board that is used to track the progress of sales orders. I would like to restrict movement of cards to archive unless an "invoiced" field is completed or checked.
At the moment we rely on the operator to check this, but they sometimes forget. This means that if we are looking up an archived job, we sometimes lose time trying to track down the invoice number
Hi Justin,
Natively in Trello, there's no way to restrict movement like that, but I think you might be able to get the same effect with something like Butler for Trello: https://butlerfortrello.com/
There, I'm thinking you'll be able to set up a rule that if the card gets archived without that box being checked, it would send the card back. Zapier might be able to do this too, so that's another great resource you can check! https://zapier.com/zapbook/trello/
