How can I get total card count?

Seems we used to be able to do card search using "*" but that isn't functioning for me. I simply want a way to know how many cards are active on a board. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

NEVER MIND :) Thanks. I just found that the filter provides card count. Kept trying to find in Menu. This works great, but if there is a way to count active cards vs. archived, that would be great to know. Thanks.

OKAY. Entered Active: then "*"  and that works! Hopefully this will just save someone time looking for solution.
