How can I get back the former formatting toolbar at comments?

I found a new toolbar by the comments on top of the comment box instead of the older at bottom right corner. I want get back the old version!

Sorry to hear you aren't happy with the new editor feature. If you'd like to disable that for now, you're welcome to do so from the Trello labs page here: https://trello.com/my/labs

Just open that link and untick the "WYSIWYG Editing" feature. Please note that disabling the editor will only work temporarily - there will be a point when it is fully released for all Trello accounts.

In order to improve the feature though, it would really help if you could tell us what exactly you don't prefer with the new editor. Our team is actively working on it and we'd happily share your feedback with them.

@Lara the main problem is in the way the new WYSIWYG comment section handles tagging.

too often people tag THEMSELVES, which was a non-existent issue before.  as a consequence the right people do not get notified!?  this was not possible with the old layout, where the tagging list was off to the side.  as soon as i and my colleagues switched back to the old layout (thank you for the link!) the problem went away.

idk if this is the layout (the list of names starts with you, and goes down to the area where you're typing!), the sensitivity (the old layout is slower AND SMARTER when bringing up the list or the right people and not tagging by accident), or something else, but it is annoying.

i'm in the middle of positioning trello as the key component of our workflow (vs a push to move the company to msft offerings).  pls do not make my job harder by introducing AND MANDATING the "improvements" which aren't.  until this is fully baked (and beyond, really!), please make this an OPT-IN feature, not an OPT-OUT one.

right now, this feels like a butterfly keyboard.
