How can I get a label when someone in my team completes checklist? (different boards)

Hello all, I have a board with my own tasks regarding projects I work on. At specific step (checked item on a checklist) the card copies to coworkers Board, removes my checklists and adds new ones as part of his individual tasks, which he has to complete before I continue.

Is it possible to somehow notify me when he completes specific task (i.e. when his checklist is completed)? I know there is an email option or a comment but I would really like just to get a label to the original card on my board or maybe a new checklist, so I can continue with my work, knowing he has done his part.

Thanks in advance for all the help!

Nik

Hi @Nik ! Welcome to the community :) you should be able to set this up with butler automation. Do the two cards share the exact same name? If so, your rule could look something like this:

when a checklist is completed in a card, find a card titled "{cardname}" on board "Personal board", and add the green label to the card

If the cards are named differently, you'll need to link the cards together which is something you can incorporate in the rule that copies the card (just add an additional action to link them). Then instead of "find a card titled {cardname}", it would be "find the first card linked in the attachments".

Thank you @Hannah Morgan that was super helpful. Still so much to learn :)
