How can I change the due date of a card to reflect the dates in checklist?

I'm searching the automation options in an effort to get cards to reflect the next due date (and assignee for bonus points) of the checklist it has within it.

See image below - I'd like to be able to automate the due dates in chronological order and have the card's due date (and assignee) change as the items are marked as complete.

I haven't been able to find a way to do this in automation. Can anyone suggest a fix or workaround?

 

I want to be able to do this so the Card shows up in the Workspace View with the next checklist item's due date so they aren't missed. Currently you have to go to the "home" page to see checklist items assigned to you which isn't effective or efficient at all. You are also unable to see your team member's due tasks and accurate workload. A massive missed opportunity.

I helped a client do this but on left most list of cards simply because you need to check every card on the board.  This process would be a high compute intensive since there no way, at this point, to shortlist them.

I don’t understand your response. There’s no shortlisting. I just want the card to reflect the due date on the checklist and update the date as checklist tasks are marked complete.

  I understand what you want. You will need a program to check all cards to identify those that need the due dates to be updated.

Likewise, when card due date is marked completed, there is a need to scan through all items to find a matching item to mark it as completed and the pick the next earliest date to update the card due date. There is no standard automation for what you try to achieve short of writing some code.
