How can I automate weekly task creation, card reordering in Trello, and the archiving part?

I have a Trello board set up with lists for each day of the week, e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Each list contains a number of cards that must be completed on that day. Every week, I want to achieve the following:

  1. New task cards (same tasks every week) should automatically appear at the beginning of each week.
  2. When a task is marked as done, the card should move to the bottom of the list for that day, so only tasks that still need to be done are at the top.
  3. Tasks from the previous week should be moved to the archive, but retain their completion dates.

How can I set up this automation in Trello? Are there any Power-Ups or integrations that can help me with this workflow, particularly for archiving tasks from the previous week while retaining their completion dates?

Hey,

I think that everything is doable with the native automation section of Trello. I dont know if you already tried it, but if not, click on the thunder icon on the top right corner called Automations.

For example:

For your case 1: Scheduled --> Everyday, create a new card in list "Monday" with the tittle that you want and the rest of the data that you need. Yo can duplicate this rule many times to get as many automated created cards as you need.

For case 2: Triggered --> When the card finish date is marked as completed --> Move the card to the bottom of the list.

For case 3: Scheduled --> Every sunday, archive all the cards of the board with the finish date marked as completed (or ignore this last part if you want all your cards to be archived)
