HOW DO I ADD SUM TOTALS UP IN CHECKLISTS?

I've been using trello sum extension for google and its been working great for adding numbers in my lists. the problem is that it's not working for adding numbers in my checklists. is there an extension for checklists, or is there a way to type the numbers in checklists to work with trello sum?
