Group Cards

Is it possible to group cards together? I am using my board to move jobs from one work station to the next and some jobs are grouped. instead of having individual cards I'm think it would be nice to be able to group them somehow.

Have you tried the Dashcards Power-Up by Trello? Dashcards allows you to track any set of tasks across all the boards where you work. You can filter and group cards based on label, assignee, list, etc. And the number of cards matched is shown on a Dashcard on your board. Dashcards update automatically as the cards change.

I believe Trello swimlanes that we provide in Planyway will work well for you. You'll be able to group cards on the board view by team members or board labels that may streamline your workflow.

@William Hofer there are different ways to approach this depending on your workflow. One way is to use linked cards as shown below:


Or use linked checklist items:


All you're doing is copying the card and pasting it into another card (you can use the ctrl + c / ctrl + v shortcut to make things easier).

Once the cards are linked, you can then automate actions. E.g. "when a card moves to list "B", for each card linked in the attachments, move cards to list "B".
