Hi folks

-need hints: on how to automate a Tasks creation based on certain triggered event over Visual Basic & Excel macros - for like whenever some field change occurs in the centralized EXCEL data table,  it should kick on some alert/action task/link into Trello and to relevant user-owner of  relevant card or task in the Trello Kanban Board.

Is that requirement in Trello posible at all ?  I mean to receive some update/message from Microsoft Office or from other out-of-company sources into Trello causing , triggering an automated change of content inside  Task or Card on Trello KANBAN board ?

Any hints or further study sources appreciated.  Stan

@Stanislav_Vrabel welcome to the community! So i think that would depend more on the Visual Basic and Excel functionality than Trello automation specifically. I know nothing about macros so can't help but if you can work with APIs in there, Trello has a fantastic API that you can do just about anything with, including creating cards. https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/trello/rest/

Hi Brittany, splendid ! That sounds like a step onward. Thanks a lot Brittany for your response, I'll dig into it over the API way Trello has to offer there.  Chers   Stan
