Github Checks not accurate

Michael Larkin September 19, 2023

Hello!

I've noticed that the Github PowerUp doesn't seem to update the "Github Checks" status and there isn't a way to make it "refresh".

It'll show 11/12 as the status and there will be an "x" next to the PR link, but when I click on it all the checks are green in Github.

One thing that I noticed is (see attached) it thinks there are 12 checks, but there are only 11.  I think this might be happening is that we have checks that only run at specific points in the workflow, so I'm wondering if the powerup is keeping a running list and expecting them all to run every time?

What's strange is this doesn't seem to happen on another one of our boards that has the same exact conditional workflows.

Any suggestions?

Hey @Michael Larkin! Have you tried removing the Power-Up from the board where the checks aren't reflecting their correct status and adding it again to see if that solves the problem? If you haven't, try it out and let me know if it worked for you. If it doesn't work, please raise a ticket with us at our contact form: https://trello.com/contact#. We'll be more than happy to continue working with you!

That's an obvious solution I should have thought of, sorry! I'll give that a try and post here if it solves it.

Yes, removing and then reinstalling the power up with fresh credentials worked, the cards now accurately reflect the last set of Github checks.
