The GitHub power-up stopped working for me suddenly some weeks ago. I followed some article (a Trello doc I think) which told me that if it doesn't work, I should try disabling the power-up and removing revoking Trello's OAuth access from your GitHub account settings and then re-enabling the power-up. So I did that, but then enabling the power-up didn't work, it crashed somewhere in the middle of the auth flow or the auth flow never started, can't remember clearly, since it was some weeks ago. Anyways, at the time, I was super busy and didn't have time to debug further, so I kept on going without the power-up.
Now I really want to get the power-up back into use and the current situation is that it shows up as enabled, but when I click "Settings" no dropdown opens. No errors are logged in the developer console but I can see that Sentry is sending some exception:
{ "exception": { "values": [ { "type": "TypeError", "value": "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'owned')", "stacktrace": { "frames": [ { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/ltp.82172960552800a11a25.js", "function": "?", "in_app": true, "lineno": 18, "colno": 41145 }, { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/ltp.82172960552800a11a25.js", "function": "a._drainQueues", "in_app": true, "lineno": 18, "colno": 42833 }, { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/ltp.82172960552800a11a25.js", "function": "a._drainQueue", "in_app": true, "lineno": 18, "colno": 42780 }, { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/ltp.82172960552800a11a25.js", "function": "x._settlePromiseAt", "in_app": true, "lineno": 18, "colno": 78508 }, { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/ltp.82172960552800a11a25.js", "function": "x._settlePromiseFromHandler", "in_app": true, "lineno": 18, "colno": 77232 }, { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/ltp.82172960552800a11a25.js", "function": "c", "in_app": true, "lineno": 18, "colno": 104078 }, { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/legacy-plugin-view.e241d127d5b973cec671.js", "function": "?", "in_app": true, "lineno": 952, "colno": 43563 }, { "filename": "https://trello.com/assets/legacy-plugin-view.e241d127d5b973cec671.js", "function": "o", "in_app": true, "lineno": 952, "colno": 42470 } ] }, "mechanism": { "type": "generic", "handled": true } } ] } }
The error occurs also if I click "Settings" in a fresh incognito tab where I just signed in, so I don't think it's about broken cache or local storage or cookies.
Hello, Daniel!
Welcome to the community.
Yesterday, we made a change to Trello that unintentionally impacted the Power-up integrations within the boards. We quickly noticed the issue and have since rolled back this change. Hopefully, everything should be back to normal now.
Can you please check if the issue still persists? We recommend clearing 24 hours worth of cached info just in case.
We apologize for the disruption this may have caused. Let me know if this issue still persists!
Kind Regards
Alisson
Trello Team
This is still occurring for me on Firefox in a fresh Private Browsing window. It's not a cache issue. It's still broken.
I see this in the console output:
Loading module from “https://github.trello.services/authorize.798ee557.js” was blocked because of a disallowed MIME type (“text/html”).

This started happening to me today. Same symptom. Already nuked cache and history. If you ever got to the bottom of it, @orehmane, or if Atlassian team has an answer, I'm all ears (as is the future :-))

I didn't do anything, but it randomly started working again for me. Perhaps some strange kind of A/B testing, or code not being replicated across all servers?
