Sorry if this has already been asked and answered.

I've added a custom field to all of my boards and would like to filter the workspace table view by a specific value so that I can see all cards with that value set.

In my case I've set up a 'Needs Billing' custom field and have to dropdown values of Yes and No. What I'd like to do is view all cards across all boards that have a value of Yes.

Is this possible? I did think about setting up an automation to assign a label if that value is set to no on a card but it seems messy.

Hi Andrew,

Right now, Workspace Table views do not support filtering by custom fields. You can only search for custom fields by filtering cards on each board instead of searching for cards across boards in the main search box. The keyword filter will search for the text inside of the card title or custom field. Here's more information on filtering by keyword

I would recommend, since your custom field does not tie up to a unique value (it is only either a Yes or No), is to use labels instead as you can search for labels across boards using search operators and in Workspace Table View. Below is how it looks like in Workspace Table View:

Hope this helps but let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi Mutya,

Thanks for the reply, I suspected that using labels might be a workaround so will look at doing it that way. It's just a little untidy because we use labels for priority but it's not the end of the world to have a couple of additional labels to choose from.

Thanks
