Extending Checklists with a Power-Up

JetUni October 15, 2019

Currently we're using checklists for a test plan in one of our Trello cards. This is very limited as we're unable to mark any of the tests as failed. I was thinking that it would be cool to create a Power-Up that could allow for check marks and an X depending on whether the test passed or failed. Is it possible to extend the built-in check lists with a Power-Up? And if so, how is it done?

You can use Butler to create cards based on actions that happen to items in a checklist.

Alternatively, you could use Custom Fields Power-Up to be able to add text or numbers or anything you like to specific objects/fields on a card. For example, you could have a custom field for "test name" and it be a text field that let you add a check or a "x" or even a note about status of a test. You could also use a drop down field that let you select "check" or "x".
