Email Address Change

We use Trello at our organization using our business email accounts. If I change the email  alias of a users will their existing Trello access still work or will we need to create a new  Trello account?

All Trello accounts are Atlassian accounts. Any changes you make to the emails should be changed on the Atlassian account as well.

My concern is if we change a users email address and we update as you say will they lose all their board memberships or settings?

No, they won't. They would only lose their access if you change your domain and did not change this on Trello.
