Easy way to mirror lists on Trello? (One list on one board exactly matches one list on another)

I've tried to find an easy solution to this- butler doesn't work, Unito does (maybe) but to do so costs $50/mo. 

I've asked on the Trello FB page, Reddit (HERE)... about to give up. It seems like it shouldn't be a hard feature to implement- I guess there just isn't much need for it. But it would really help me!

Hi Eric,

I'm afraid we do not have a native card sync feature at the moment. However, tBut there are many great options for setting up different types of syncs across your cards from our mirroring list here: Mirroring Cards.

If the options don't fit your requirement, could you share your business case so that we could understand and include into our feature request list?

Totally agree with Eric L. 

The need to mirror list is real! 

Being able to mirror a card is handy of cause but being able to mirror an entire list, Oooooo, now there's true power!

For me cards represent smaller projects or parts of projects. Where lists represent entire projects within a department. Being able to maintain an over view of selected projects within a particular department from my own board would be super handy. This would mean at a glance I could eyeball the goings on without having to leave my focus zone. 

You could do this with multiple priority projects or department aspect all from the comfort of your own board. This would be a huge aid in maintaining focus while maintaining a solid over-watch. 

While I'm here: "DESKTOP CARD/LIST MIRROR"

A feature where you could drag a list or card over to your desktop and a mirrored list or card would exist on desktop until closed would be SUPER AWESOME for hyper focusing on individual projects; tasks and daily to do lists.

Totally agree! I have a list of tasks in multiple project boards, with each project having different users. I want to mirror all my task lists from the different boards into one board that is all of my task lists together, without everyone else's task lists. This seems like a fairly easy feature to add?

Another vote for this, please! I have IFTTT and Butler set up to help me stay on top of my workload, but life would be so much easier if I could mirror a couple of lists from a team board into my personal board. The lists on the team board are constantly updated, and I would love to be able to see those changes on my personal board in real time.

Then I could get a full picture of my workload without having to have two boards open--and could more easily process the cards from the team board within the context of my other work.

Not a card, but a list.

As an example; 

all our customers each have a board. Every month we create a "list" by name; oktober, november, december ect. 

What i need is a place where i can see all customers, oktober lists together as this is the team "to do list" for the month.

My instinct tells me to create a bord "to do Oktober" and sync/mirror each of the oktober lists from each customer. I can easily copy them across but i need them to sync, as it needs to not matter whether we create or make changes to cards in either place.

is there anyone out there who has a solution or a way of having this funktionality that i have not thought of?

I have tried Unito and unfortunately it does not word, it mirrors cards - not lists, as far as i can see.

Would love to have a solution by nov. 2019 - so our team can get started properly.

I would really love this featured added, as well. My team has a master board that links to each of our events that we plan; within each event, I want to be able to set up a list for each member of our team, so we can all see what each other is working on.

However when I sit down to do my own work, I like to work from my own personal board so I can see all my prioritized tasks at-a-glance. If I could mirror my own assigned list from each event board to my own personal board, this would be such a nice way to streamline things.

I have been search high and low for this feature and I am honestly surprised it's not there.

I love that Trello is always updating and adding features. That's what makes it stand out to me above all the other copycats out there.

Can anyone with Atlassian let us know if this could be a reality in the near future?

Absolutely - this is a much needed feature to address the issue that so many users need.

Most users have multiple projects, that interact or are concurrent.

Most users have multiple teams, that crossover.

Trello is great for focusing in on one project, from one angle, or from one team's perspective, but it does not do well to accomodate this real world scenario that we all live in.

The table where we see all tasks is not really very usable as yet, it seems.

Native mirroring would make Trello WAY more powerful.

Mirror cards. Mirror lists. Mirror labels.

As mentioned above - would be great to hear if Atlassian has any plans or thoughts in this area!

Just wanted to add a +1 to this. Would love to see this feature. 

I'd like to set it up so that

When Card x is assigned to Card Y User, Mirror and Sync that card to Y user's personal board in list "Company Z to Do". Obviously I'd set them up individually (I don't have access to their personal boards).  

I can do that with Butler and duplicate and link that card when it is assigned to a user. 

I can also use Butler so that if either linked card is moved to "Done" the linked card also moved to "Done"

I can also use Butler to delete linked card if user is no longer assigned to the primary card

But the content doesn't sync between the cards. It actually just captures the Card at the time of the trigger. 

I can manually mirror each card using Unito - but it costs way too much and doesn't integrate into Butler's conditional automation. 

The other mirroring power-ups also don't allow for automation, or cost too much IMHO. By the way Power-Ups should say they will cost money before you install them. Misleading.

Hi Trello,

Is this still not possible.
I started using Trello just for last couple weeks.

And finding out that there are so many things I would need (and would expect as basic) and these aren't avaliable.

- Mirror Cards
- Mirror List
- Share A list link
- Attach List 

I've seen a mass of comments that these features would help customers a lot, why no one takes feedback on board?

Some of these feedback are from 2019 hey guys can you please reply to myself and explain why nothing changed in this cases?

Has there been any update to being able to mirror or sync lists to multiple boards? I feel this should be a very common use for many different reasons. I'm actually shocked it is not an option natively.  Please let me know if there have been any updates by Atlassian to Trello for this feature that we have all been requesting for over 5 years.  Thank you!

Requesting mirrored lists AND cards. Not just mirrored lists!! They represent different use cases and needs:

## Mirrored Lists

More suitable for teams. Eg. having a Master Board with mirrored Reports lists from various departments.

## Mirrored Cards

More suitable for individuals. Eg. having a main board called Project Ideas with mirrored select cards from a secondary board called Inspiration.

Atlassian, please consider this simple concept and don’t let it be a super expensive power-up ... This would mean a lot for individuals who can’t shell out hundreds of dollars like nothing. If needed, make it a feature-tiered solution with a free/limited entry option.

If you can decrease price or increase number of synchronization (now is not enough)  for 10 $ MONTH, I will buy immediately, but for the moment is too expensive and/or too short limit of synchr.
