Due Date automations not working

Rue Walker May 30, 2024

I have a set a rule that 7 days before the due date copy and link cards and move to a canopy to the THIS WEEK list. I did the same for TODAY, NEXT WEEK and THIS MONTH

The automation will NOT run. I do not know why. Its enabled, I am running other autos just fine.

HELP haha

@Rue Walker do you have a time mentioned in your trigger? If not, it will trigger at the due time set on the card. E.g. you have a card due on June 7th, 5 pm. Your automation will trigger on May 31st, 5 pm.

You can specify when exactly you would like the automation to trigger, which will override the due time:

@Rue Walker if you try set a time in your rule, the automation should trigger at that exact time. Let me know if that works.

I set the time - it did not trigger and the cards are not moving between the lists.

@Rue Walker does the command log give you any clue as to why it didn't trigger? You can access the logs here:

Yes it says the commands are running - but the cards are not moving and the action is set to move the cards. Thank you so much for helping by the way!

@Rue Walker are you able to share a screenshot of your rule and a screenshot of the command logs?
