I've been using Trello for many years now and I'm considering upgrading from the free version. The concern I have is paying for each member.
I work with freelancers, other marketing teams, and clients. There's me and a revolving door of about 15 people using my Trello boards. Each one edits cards and at least 5 people at any given time (and those people change frequently) would need to move cards.
If I upgrade do I have to pay for every single member? That seems crazy as the only feature I'd like would be calendar and recurring cards
Yes, like many other web applications (Dropbox, slack, jira, and our competitors) our billing model is a per user model.
If you only add a collaborator to one board, they won’t be billable. So if you don’t want to pay for them, only add them to one board or alternatively you can collaborate with them in a separate free workspace.
