I am doing research for a Upwork client, and would like to know if anyone has advice on our problem we are trying to solve?
Find a solution that integrates all data channels into the CRM, enabling automation from various sources. This will enhance transparency and communication between the company and its customers, allowing them to update personal information and receive automated updates, while ensuring data privacy and staff are trained in customer-appropriate communication practices.
Hi @Jackie Nash
Just to clarify, what are you looking to use Trello for in this scenario? Is this the front-end of the CRM? Or a support desk?
What CRM is it (assuming it's not a bespoke one)?

Hi @Ste Wright thank you for your response.
We are investigating using Trello (and subsequent power ups, API's etc) as an option to have all lead sources (phone calls, website enquires, FB messenger etc) to populate into a CRM - automated where possible - and manage the tasks associated in the team.
The customer would be able to log into the system, and only see their information, tasks etc and has transparency over the process and better comms.
I see that Crmble is an option, but not sure about the customer logging in part?
Thanks so much in advance for your help!

Hi @Jackie Nash
I'm not saying it isn't possible in Trello, but I'm not sure it's the best solution either.
What you're describing sounds like a service desk - such as Jira Service Management - which has permission models to ensure customers can only see their own data.
You probably can do this using Trello, API's, etc - but it feels like a lot of custom work which might be quite complex to support, rather than choosing a platform which is more suited to the actual needs.
