I have a board with four lists to track progress of customer orders. I have used custom automatons to move individual cards from one list to another when certain conditions (field criteria) are met. The custom automation triggers all work and the execution to move the card to the top of another list on the board also works. The problem is that instead of moving the card to the existing list, it creates a new list with the same title on the board.
Hi @John Fast
This can happen if the names of the lists don't match exactly (e.g. a space at the end of the name in the list that's not there in the automation or an extra character). Can you try copying the name of your list from the board, then editing your rule and pasting this into the list name box and see if this makes a difference?
