Actually it´s not possible to use Trello GDPR compliant in the EU.
Trello is an online-based tool that relies on the use of cookies. According to the GDPR, an opt-in procedure must be offered for the use of cookies. Essential cookies Cookies may be set by default. All other cookies, such as tracking, marketing and optional cookies, may only be offered in the opt-in procedure.
When using the website/Trello, however, all cookies are switched on by default. These can only be deactivated by the user using the opt-out procedure.
It is therefore not possible to use them in the EU.
Are there any changes planned?
Otherwise it will not be possible to use trello in the eu.
Hi @Christian
In general, Trello's details about GDPR are on this page: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/trello-and-gdpr-our-commitment-to-data-privacy/
It states if you do need to contact them in relation to this, you can use the contact details in the privacy policy - see: https://www.atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy#contact-us
Alternatively, you could also reach out to Support - https://trello.com/contact
Whilst the Community is frequented by Atlassian team members, it's largely other users like yourself! So if you have a concern here, I'd encourage you to contact Atlassian directly through the options above :)
