Checklist Order has disturbed while separating out long checklist items

Hi,

@Dreamsuite Mike hope you're doing well.

 

After separating out the Rules, the Order of Checklist has changed and sequence is disturb as per the original checklist. Sample checklist size is around 11 items with 2, 2 extra action items.

Rules:

when checklist "Understanding Client Business" is added to a card, add item "Account Manager has intake call" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", set the item due in 2 working days, add item "Complete Business Information Summary" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", assign the item to me, set the item due in 2 working days, add item "Review Account Manager Intake Call Notes" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", set the item due in 2 working days, add item "Login Creation" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", assign the item to me, set the item due in 3 working days, add item "Complete Keyword Research" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", assign the item to me, set the item due in 5 working days, add item "Keyword research internally approved" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", assign the item to me, set the item due in 6 working days, add item "Account Manager approves keywords" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", and set the item due in 6 working days

 

While adding next 4 items, the order has disturbed:

when checklist "Understanding Client Business" is added to a card, add the "Prepare keyword email" checklist to the card, assign the item to me, set the item due in 6 working days, add item "Send Email: Keywords To Target For [ClientName]: ABC" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", set the item due in 6 working days, add item "Client approves Target keywords" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", set the item due in 10 working days, add item "Add approved keywords to Accuranker" to checklist "Understanding Client Business", assign the item to me, and set the item due in 11 working days

Hi @Abdullah Khan 

I can see why you are seeing this issue.

Trello automation does not run synchronously, so in your example, automation 2 may run before or after automation 2.  Furthermore, I have seen Trello batch things from different automations.  I don't know exactly the execution flow behind the scenes but I have a way you can simply get around that...

The simplest way to fix would be to trigger automation 2 from the last step from automation 1

When an item containing "Account Manager approves keywords" is added to checklist "Understanding Client Business"
