Hello -
I wanted to know if there was a way to change the map style after entering an address in Trello Premium. For what I use the map feature for - it is very distracting to see nearby attractions, road names, businesses, etc. when trying to view all of my pins on the board.
I use the map feature to dispatch employees to locations and like to visualize which orders to assign to certain techs. The 'extra' information is unnecessary and complicates pin viewing.
Google My Maps has some great styling options, however, from my understanding, there is no API access to MyMaps. If possible - the gray one with white lines for roads and no other data would be great!
My $0.02.
Thank You!
Hi @s2chad , welcome to the community!
The only option we currently have is when you open your Map View, click on "Satellite" and then uncheck the box "Labels" which will remove all the other information on the screen, leaving only the pins on your map. But this type of view will remove the white road lines, so that's the main issue here. We already have a request from other users to implement an integration between Google My Maps and our Map View, but since there's no public API for the My Maps, so it would not be feasible to implement.
Anyway, I’ll pass your interest in this on to our team for consideration—let me know if there's any additional info you'd like for me to send their way.
Thank you for the explanation - I wish MyMaps had an API - crazy that they don't.
Thanks again! Happy New Year! :)
