I added the card repeater power up, but have not been receiving email notifications on the due dates. It does create the one stand alone card (with no due date) if the date passes and then creates the repeat card for the next due date. Did I miss something in set up to activate email notifications on due dates? Thank you!
Hi Katie,
When you set up Card Repeater, that Power-Up duplicates the original card in whatever form it took.
You mention that Card Repeater does repeat the card (with no due date)—does this mean the original card doesn't have a due date? If that's the case, the new cards won't have a due date either. If the original does have a due date, the new cards would have the same due date, because the card is being duplicated, so you'd need to change the due date as needed.
You also still need to meet the conditions to receive notifications: https://help.trello.com/article/793-receiving-trello-notifications

Hi Michael!
Thanks so much for the reply. I mis-spoke...I have a date set in the Repeat settings, but I did not set a Due Date. So for instance I had a card set to repeat on the 15th. I missed it this month so there is a card now for that task with no due date and a card for next month on that date...but I never received an email on the 15th.
Is NEXT REPEAT the same as DUE DATE? I do have the date set on the repeat, but I do not have a due date set (on the original). See picture.
I am also watching the cards.
Thank you!

No, Next Repeat and Due Date are two unrelated things. The Due Date is what would generate a due notification. Next Repeat is just an entry for the next time that Card Repeater will duplicate the card, and this isn't tied into notifications at all.
You wouldn't ever receive a notification of the card being created, but if you set a due date on the new card, you could be notified at the due date.

Is it accurate then to say that there is no way to have a repeating reminder? I.e., the task will repeat at the set interval, but I can't get a repeating reminder without going into the card after each occurrence to update the due date?
I was so excited that there was a repeating option, but if I can't have a repeating reminder that follows, it defeats my goal of not having to touch the card repeatedly or to have to set up multiple cards...
