Can you tag and pull client cards across boards into one client dashboard?

We are a design agency and use this for our project management. We have several boards, but would like to be able to tag the client name and have them pull into an overall client dashboard where we can see a bigger picture of all the things we've ever worked on for them, etc.

Adding one other option on top of what Robin and milynnus suggested - you could use Trello's workspace table/calendar and filter on label.

Try looking at Dashboard cards because I can create a list of all cards with the same label (customer name) for the workspace from any board.

Or card mirroring, if you want a single Trello board with all the relevant cards mirrored to it. You could look at tools like Unito for that :)
