Can my client keep a copy of their board including attachments when we finish working together?

Trello newbie and I’ve been unable to find an answer to this question within the community.

I am coming to the end of a contract with a client, and they would like to retain the information within their board-

1. Can they create a copy of the board that will allow them to keep all the info including attachments? (They would need to add to it moving forward.)

2. Is it better to make a copy or save client boards as templates?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, Fiona!

Welcome to the community!

I think it's better to create a template because templates are meant to be more educational and less about collaboration, all comments, and activity feed will be hidden. Self-join is also disabled on templates.

Kind Regards
