Can customers get notified when their card is moved? We want to have an automatic email go out to our customers when their card is moved along the timeline. How/can we do this?
Christl from SendBoard here - makers of the Email for Trello PowerUp.
We have a blog post about this example. Feel free to check it out here: Drag a Trello card to send an email.
You can automate sending emails throughout your workflow - for example, "In progress", "Feedback request", "Done", "Follow-up" etc. Variables such as due dates, checklists or custom fields can also be included in your saved replies to pull relevant/personalised data into your emails. Any responses will automatically attach to the correct card.
Hope that helps!

@Brandon Williams you can set up automation to send an email when a card is moved to another list. For instance, use the Rules section of automation with a trigger of "When a card is moved to list "Doing" ", then add an action for "send an email notification to {{%Email}} (assuming there's a custom field on the card called Email), with a message "This card is in Progress.
If you just wanted it to show the time of the list, you could do all of this in one rule by using regex wildcards and the {cardlistname} variable in the post comment. I made this video showing how to do something similar:

Cool! Thank you! Doing this will alert the customer that their job has progressed in the work cycle? Thanks for the fast and thorough response!

@Brandon Williams if you create a custom field on the card with the customer's email address, then yes! Otherwise, if they're a member on the card, you could also post a comment that tags them and let's them know. So there are a few ways to set it up, just depends if they are in the Trello board or not.

Understood. I’ll try to setup one right now. Thanks for your time!
