I have a board with a handful of members, working with a premium account.
They are not workspace members, only board members.
I have card templates which should be copied by each member to begin the workflow.
I'm trying to set up an automation to auto-assign them to the new card they copied, then subscribe them to the card. However, it only seems to be able to subscribe ME (the admin) to their card automatically, or a specific team member.
Automation does not seem to have a function where it applies an automation to the member who copied the board... does it?
I'd like automation to be able to assign whoever copied the card / hit the button. Is this possible? If so, How?
Hi @Jordan Page,
Try to use the variable {username}. As stated in the Trello Automation variables documentation, this variable returns the username of the user who triggers a rule.
