I have a simple automation.  I would like to sort each list in a board alphabetical order at 8:00 AM every morning.  I can do this one list at a time but can I make a rule that sorts all lists in one go?  Like: sort cards in list * by title ascending

Hi Craig,

Welcome to Community!

Can you elaborate on what you are trying to accomplish? I am a bit confused saying you want to sort cards by title? What are you trying to get out if this by doing it? As Jira is meant to be an agile tool sorting alphabetically wouldn't provide any insight for agile methodologies

What you are trying to accomplish maybe able to be done via API however I am unsure the value sorting in this method would provide off of something like summary, which is the title of a card, as that's free form

Now if you have a custom field with values in it, any custom field with a pick list can be sorted on, however creating an automation to do this at a set time every day isn't something you can do. However you wouldn't need to either as you can just save the filter you make and when you open the filter that was sorted it would open with that order.

Best,
Clark
