Can I convert my email based login to a google login?

I signed up for Trello before there was a "login with google" option.

I'd like to convert my account to that so I can use that one-click approach.


My account is a free one, so I realize I could create a new Google login-based account and copy my stuff from the old email-based account to the new one.  But before I did that I was hoping to find out if I could just convert my existing account.

Hi there,

As long as the email we have on file is attached to a Google account, you can use the "Login with Google" option when logging into your account. If you run into any issues, would you mind sending us a screenshot of what you see via trello.com/contact? We can then take a closer look!

my old login is based on hotmail (not not the automatic microsoift login) , what steps I need to follow to convert that account to be able to login vi google login account without losing my projects info  / lists etc

I have the free account as well.
