I’m using calendar power up ona board (free version of Trello) — and I have a card with date spanning multiple days. On mobile, the card start date is Aug 26 @ 8am, and the due date/end date is Aug 28 @4pm. However, in calendar view (power-up), the card only shows up on Aug 28.
Online I’ve seen that the card should in theory appear as “stretched” over multiple days… am I experiencing a bug? I’m trying to use the calendar power up icalendar feed to link to my Google calendar but it’s useless if the card doesn’t appear over multiple days for multi day events.
Hi @AA
It's Violetta from Planyway:)
The Start Date feature is available to free accounts but your board will need to be part of a Business Class team to see the start date on Trello's timeline and calendar.
I may recommend to use Planyway power-up that provides with the calendar views even on the free plan. Cards will show up on multiple days, and you can stretch them easily to change duration.
Thanks Violetta. I added the Planyway power-up but unfortunately the same exact problem still occurs.... my multi-day event created on the trello board only shows up as being an hour long (starting at the card's due/end date). my start date on the trello card is completely disregarded.

Hi @AA
That happens as we have our own start dates, we sync with Trello due date, but the sync with Trello start date will be released in 2 weeks. For now, you can use Planyway start dates just by dragging cards on the calendar or inside a Planyway card (they will be visible inside Trello cards too). In 2 weeks there will be a full sync.
As for the card duration, you can change the default duration in Planyway settings.

Hi @Violetta Chernobuk its been a month but I’m still not seeing planyway syncing with trello start date — is this still supposed to be released? And where on your website do you generally post about updates?

Hi @AA
Sorry for long awaiting. The start date sync was released last weekend for all new users and their new boards. Migration for all current Planyway users is being tested at the moment. Soon, it’ll be released too.
