Button automation for HTTP GET is intermittent

I set up an automation as follows:  Do a 'get url' on the specified URL on a server when a button is clicked.

Results:

When I click the button, the url is sometimes fetched successfully. Sometimes I get a 'Socket is closed' error in the Automation logs. It seems like if I wait 10+secs or so then click the button again, it works but not always.

At this point I am not sure if the issue is on the Trello side or on the server side. Is there someplace I can view the actual http signaling exchange? The only logs I see are those from the Automation Logs which does not say much other than what I indicated above.
